Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SalonX, the mobile and web application and related services operated by Truelet Innovations (“Truelet Innovations”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, registering a salon, joining a queue, or otherwise using SalonX, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use SalonX. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information.

1. About SalonX

SalonX is a live salon queue and booking platform that connects customers (visitors seeking salon services) with salons (shops, parlors, and their owners, managers, and staff). Customers can discover nearby salons, join waitlists, track estimated wait times, and manage related profile details. Salons can manage staff, services, queues, appointments, and shop settings.

2. Who these Terms apply to

• Customers — individuals who use SalonX to find salons, join queues, book or wait for services, or manage family / guest profiles.
• Salons — businesses and their authorized users (owners, barbers, stylists, and staff) who register a shop, set services and pricing, manage queues, and serve customers through SalonX.

Customers and salons are independent third parties to each other. Truelet Innovations provides the SalonX platform; we are not a salon, employer of salon staff, or party to the service contract between a customer and a salon, except as expressly stated in these Terms.

3. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use SalonX. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use SalonX only with a parent or guardian’s consent and supervision.
• You must provide accurate registration details (such as name, mobile number, and, for salons, shop information) and keep them up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials, OTPs, PINs, and devices used to access SalonX. Notify us promptly at support@truelet.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Salon owners are responsible for accounts they create for staff and for ensuring staff comply with these Terms.

4. Customer use of SalonX

When you use SalonX as a customer, you agree to:

• Use queues and bookings in good faith — join only when you intend to visit, arrive within any grace period shown in the app, and cancel or leave the queue if your plans change.
• Treat salon staff and other customers respectfully when interacting through or as a result of SalonX.
• Understand that wait times are estimates based on salon data and queue activity; actual wait may differ due to walk-ins, service duration, staff availability, or salon decisions.
• Pay any applicable salon charges for services directly to the salon as agreed with that salon. Platform or booking fees, if any, will be disclosed in the app before you confirm.

5. Salon use of SalonX

When you use SalonX as a salon, you agree to:

• Provide accurate shop details, cover images, services, prices, staff status (online / offline), and queue information.
• Keep staff and service listings current so customers receive reliable wait estimates and booking options.
• Honor queue positions and appointments managed in SalonX in a fair and non-discriminatory manner, subject to your lawful shop policies (for example gender-specific parlors where disclosed).
• Comply with all laws applicable to your business, including licensing, consumer protection, tax, employment, and health and safety rules.
• Not misuse customer data obtained through SalonX for spam, harassment, or purposes unrelated to providing the booked or queued service, except as allowed by law and our Privacy Policy.
• Ensure only authorized staff access salon dashboards, and deactivate staff who leave your business.

6. Relationship between customers and salons

Services displayed in SalonX are offered by salons, not by Truelet Innovations. The contract for hair, beauty, or related services is solely between the customer and the salon. Disputes about service quality, pricing, refunds, delays, or in-shop conduct should be resolved between the customer and the salon. We may, at our discretion, help facilitate communication or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, but we are not obligated to mediate every dispute.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with SalonX systems, security, or other users’ access.
• Create fake shops, fake queues, or misleading wait times or reviews.
• Use SalonX for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
• Upload content you do not have rights to, or that is illegal, defamatory, or infringing.
• Attempt to bypass fees, rate limits, or access controls.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or that create risk for customers, salons, or the platform.

8. Fees and payments

SalonX may offer free and paid features. Any platform fees, subscription charges, or booking-related fees will be described in the app or on related Truelet Innovations materials before you are charged. Salon service prices are set by salons. Unless stated otherwise, payments for salon services are handled between the customer and the salon.

If payment processors are used for SalonX platform fees, their terms also apply. Taxes may apply as required by law.

9. Intellectual property

SalonX, including its software, branding, logos, and documentation, is owned by Truelet Innovations or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use SalonX as permitted by these Terms. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our software or branding without written permission.

Salons retain rights to their shop names, logos, and media they upload, and grant Truelet Innovations a license to host and display that content in SalonX for operating and promoting the platform. Customers retain rights to content they submit (such as profile photos), subject to the same operational license.

10. Push notifications and communications

By using SalonX, you may receive transactional messages related to queues, appointments, OTPs, and account security via in-app notifications, push notifications, SMS, or email. Marketing messages, if any, will be sent where permitted by law and can be opted out of where controls are provided.

11. Disclaimers

SalonX is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Truelet Innovations disclaims warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that wait-time estimates will be exact, that a particular stylist will be available, or that a salon will meet a customer’s expectations.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Truelet Innovations and its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of SalonX or from interactions between customers and salons.

Our total liability for claims relating to SalonX will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to Truelet Innovations for SalonX platform fees in the three months before the claim, or (b) INR 5,000, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, for proven fraud or willful misconduct).

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Truelet Innovations from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of SalonX, your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or — for salons — your services to customers and your handling of customer data.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using SalonX at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive termination.

15. Changes to SalonX and these Terms

We may update SalonX features and these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using SalonX.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
